Emission reduction projects

Entities capable of generating CO₂eq credits can implement targeted actions to market them. To do so, it is important to follow the following guidelines:

• identify exclusively European projects – known as ‘Climate Protection Projects’ – that can generate carbon credits;
• validate and certify, by third parties, the real emission reduction potential of ‘Climate Protection Projects’ ;
• register the Project and proceed to issue carbon credits;
• monitor ‘Climate Protection Projects’ in real time, to verify that they continue to generate emission reductions;
• work with government agencies and NGOs, businesses and other stakeholders to enhance the value of ‘Climate Protection Projects
• analyse the financial aspects, initial costs, potential revenues and possible risks associated with the projects;
• raise awareness and communicate, promoting awareness and understanding of climate change and the need to combat it.
